Description:
It Must Have Been Love (Christmas For The Broken Hearted) was originally recorded for the German market but EMI Electrola did not like the song and therefore it was decided not to release it as a single in Germany.

The song was, however, released as a Christmas single in Scandinavia and the main reason for this was to keep up the interest in Roxette until their next album could be released. The idea was also to re-release this single every year, much like Wham!'s his Last Christmas, but they never did.

When the single was first released in November 1987 the sleeve had red leaves and a subtitle printed on it. The second edition of this single was released after Christmas and therefore EMI decided to remove the subtitle and change the colour of the leaves to green.

Both of these releases include the same version of the song which is very slightly different (the word Christmas is substituted by the word winter) compared to the version of It Must Have Been Love that was recorded for the soundtrack to the movie "Pretty Woman".

It Must Have Been Love (Christmas For The Broken Hearted) was included on some Christmas compilation albums but noth of the songs on this single were unavailable on any Roxette album until they were included as bonus tracks on Pearls Of Passion - The First Album in 1997.

Only 340 copies of the promotion 12'' were ever made and it includes the same versions of the songs as the 7''.
