Ki-I-Ai-Oo / Strul Igen (
single )
Ki-I-Ai-Oo / Strul Igen was a double A-sided single released by Marie Fredriksson's first group Strul. This record is actually the first ever to feature Marie Fredriksson and both of the songs are only available on this rare single since no album was released by the group.
When Strul were planning for the first "Strul festival" in Halmstad 1979 they decided to sell a badge with their name on it, instead of a ticket, as a kind of entrance fee. Since everybody entering the concert area were told to wear the badge in a prominent place the guards could easily check that people had paid the admission fee.
Strul's logotype was designed by a friend of the group, Per Gessle, who got the inspiration from the cover of Dave Edmund's album Repeat When Neccessary which was released in 1979.
Musical credits
Marie Fredriksson - Vocals
Peter Nilsson - Bass
Nils "Nisse Noise" von Mattern - Drums
Martin Sternhufvud - Electric guitar
Bo "Bosse" Söderström - Electric guitar

Mammas Barn (
single )
Mammas Barn was the only single released by Marie Fredriksson's second group MaMas Barn and both songs were later included on their album Barn Som Barn.
Originally another song was planned to be released as the first single by the group, who were on CBS record label at the time, but MaMas Barn and the record company could not agree on which song it should be.
When the record company WEA-Metronome bought the contract from CBS the group got the opportunity to record a whole album and Mammas Barn was chosen to be released as a single.

Because of Marie Fredriksson's huge success with Roxette the record company decided to release the album on CD in 1992, exactly 10 years after the original release of the LP.

The song was recorded at EMI Studios in Stockholm and it was only available on this single and on some Swedish compilation CDs until it was included on her greatest hits album Äntligen - Marie Fredrikssons Bästa (1984-2000).
The picture sleeve shows a photograph of Marie and her older sister Tina which was taken in 1962 and this was the first time that Marie Fredriksson was profesionally photgraphed in a studio.
The promotion 12'' has, by mistake two different numbers printed on the A- and B-side and the correct number is PRO 4104.

Äntligen (
single )
Äntligen was the first single from Marie Fredriksson's greatest hits album Äntligen - Marie Fredriksson Bästa (1984-2000).
The song Solen Gick Ned Över Stan is actually a remix of the song Äntligen and this version of the song is different from the version included on the greatest hits album.
EMI Svenska AB made a limited number of promotion singles which was sent out before the commercial single was released but a mistake was made when they printed the sleeve for the promotion single. The sleeve was misprinted with an incorrect length of both songs and therefore the promotion single has a different catalogue number than the commercial single.
